"Salute to Summer", I'm lovin' the summer!! This is Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #7.

Hello,
I'm showing you a little Americana today! Makes me think of hot dogs, baseball and Apple Pie, and not in that order.

What is it you say, no - not a stamped, or digi image - it's ** an altered postcard **. I sniped off wording in the lower section and did some surgery and resewed the postcard back together. I added some buttons and cut-up some blue hearts, dry embossed them and added some white ink to the borders, topped it off with Prima flowers, a white star brad and hemp cording, and yes - you do see some red rick rack too. I really like this one and right in time for the 4th of July!!

Be sure to check out what the other design team members are creating. They are sure to be wonderful, have we ever let you down? Hop on over to the Midnight Madness blog at Priscilla's place to view and don't forget to enter a card. Thank you, you all make this so much fun.
*** HAPPY SUMMER***
