"Abigail Page" Old Vintage Style, My MMSC11

This is my Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge card. Can you can believe that this is a brochure for an actual store? I visited this store a few weeks ago and grabbed up this brochure on my way out. I think this is the first brochure used on a sketch card over at Midnight Madnesss at Priscilla's Midnight Madness Challenge Sketch blog, any kind of media goes there! I cut down the brochure to fit on a 5 x 7 card front, lightly sprayed it with water, wrinkled it and smoothed it out till dry and Pearl Exed the sides of the brochure and adhered it on a dry embossed shimmered background paper. Added some lace on the botton and two flowers and for the top, I made a black bow with lace and made it look like that this was like a veil or hat for Abigail's head with two centered Poppy colored flowers. I hope you enjoyed a different type of media this week from me. Please let me know you thoughts, I would be happy to hear (read) them. Have a great day!! - Jane

  7. I took one look at this and thought "Wow, how creative". I actually thought you were commissioned to make this up??? Now after reading, I see you just made it for fun. I'll be grabbing me some brochures soon. Wait, maybe someone will put one on my windshield (ooh that's my pet peeve) lol But maybe I could turn it to a positive if I make something as beautiful as this with it. Awesome job.
