My Trip to the Apple Orchard

I went to the Apple Orchard several weeks ago with some friends and Although I have been to the Apple Orchard, I have never been to this one and we sure had a good time.  There was a chill in the air but dressed warmly and a nice drive out to the country too.  So, I thought I would share with you what we saw on our visit.  The name of the Apple Orchard was called "Pine Tree Apple Orchard".

Isn't this old stove cool, this was how it was throughout the whole place.

An Apple conveyor belt.

As you can see, there are selling the frozen goodies in there. Apple everything!!!

They had many large handmade quilts on the walls.

The checkout is straight ahead

I love that old bench, red rocker, old crates, white enamel pot!

This is one of the spots that they had for the Jams, Jellies and Butter.

The syrups are here, the had real Maple syrup, honey, cider

The grounds, not too many people about, I did say it was chilly, Most of the people where inside and in the inside eating area.

A wagon ride going out into the apple orchard.

What we bought, I just bought one of those jars of Apple Butter, we opened and shared those cookies.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed your trip at the Apple Orchard.

  1. What a nice visit. I've never been to a apple orchard, looks fun! Like the store...looks like a Cracker Barrel resturant!

  2. We have an apple orchard here in New Mexico that is very similar to this. It's about an hour north of Albuquerque and they have the best apples. The last time I went was about 8 or 9 years ago. It's always so fun to go to the "source" for apples and other produce. I need to do that sometime again. Brings you back down to earth. :)

  6. Jane, what fabulous photos...I think the closest thing we have to this is Cracker Barrel, which I love so much, the rocking chairs and checkers outside and all the goodies inside. I live in the wrong place that's for sure!!
Thanks for sharing your day with us! I hope you enjoyed tasting all those delicious treats.
